Obituary

Delores Jean (Lemay) Clark, age 89, passed away peacefully at ThedaCare Hospital on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 following a brief illness surrounded by her children. She was born in Oshkosh, Wisconsin on July 14, 1931 the daughter of Joseph and Virginia Lemay, the second of ten children. Delores was united in marriage to Charles (Whitey) Clark in Oshkosh and together they were the proud parents of five children.
Delores was a wonderful person, mother, grandmother and sister to her siblings. She was truly the Matriarch to her children and their families, always there to welcome, listen and advise. There is nothing like a mother's love for children and Delores gave it her all. An attractive lady, always conscious of her appearance, the family was always so proud of our Mother.

Delores was raised on the north side of Oshkosh. Growing up during her time, this was a close community known as Nordheim. Later in life, she helped to organize and participate in Nordheim Reunions.

Oshkosh was home for their family for many years but in the late 1960's the family moved to rural Almond, Wisconsin area. Living there, they completed raising their children and made many lifelong friends. Delores was employed at the Veteran's Home at King, Wisconsin.

Following the passing her beloved husband, Whitey, Delores returned to Oshkosh to be close to her children and relatives.

The Lord sent our family the most kind and loving Mother we could ever ask for. We have truly been blessed.

Delores is survived by her children, Larry (Marsha) Clark, Sandra (Scott) Hanneman, Shelley (Dr. John) Richardson, and Chuck (special friend, Susie) Clark; grandchildren, Amy Clark, Lee (Missy) Clark, Cory Lewellyn, Christine Lewellyn, Nicole (Julian) Fitzgerald, Ryan (Karen) Schaefer, Andrea (Ben) Manning, Courtney (Mike) Gable and Cody (Annie) Clark; step-grandchildren, Adam (Raegan) Anick, Christopher (Marla) Anick, John (Kari) Richardson, Andrea (Erik) Uppling, Nicholas (Jared) Adams-Richardson, and 16 great-grandchildren.
Delores is further survived by her brothers, Harry Lemay, Gary (Vicki) Lemay and Jeffrey Lemay; sisters, Carol Spiegelberg, Linda Schmidt; sister-in-law, Darlene Lemay, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Delores was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles (Whitey) Clark; daughter, Diana Clark; brothers, Joseph Lemay Jr. and William Lemay; sisters, Virginia Case, and Patricia Kevill.
