Obituary

Dennis James Clark, of Pickett, Wisconsin, passed into eternal resting on December 11, 2008. Dennis was at home with his wife and son at his side. He was born March 29, 1956 in Oshkosh to Carroll J. and Bernice (Hinz) Clark. He grew up in Butte Des Mort, attending Winneconne schools. Dennis was employed at Winnebago Mental Health Institute. He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Oshkosh, a life time member of the NRA, and North American Hunters Club. Dennis served in the U.S. Navy on board the U.S.S. Kennedy, which he was very proud of.
Dennis loved spending time with his family and friends, especially the Sunday sheapheed games with his father. He so loved the time spent with "The Gang" at Robbins Restaurant, shooting pool with his son, Corey, and friends, hunting, fishing on Lake Winnebago and Little Green Lake. Special times were those early morning drives with Corey, hunting roosters. Dennis could be found sitting around the campfire telling jokes or in the kitchen cooking up something delicious, he was great at both. Known for a big heart and contagious smile, Dennis, will be missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.

(fiancee Tanya Acord) Clark; a daughter, Jenni Clark; three grandsons, Austin J. Clark, Brennan L. Ebert, and Bryce J. Clark; six granddaughters, Jessica M. Schmidt, Machaela J. Ebert, Ashley M. Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there; I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow; I am the diamond glints on the snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain; I am the gentle autumn's rain. When you awaken in the mornings hush, I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft star that shines at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry. I am not there, I did not die.
