Dennis L. Weitz, age 69, of Oshkosh, after a difficult life with many health problems died on May 19, 2013. He was born on September 29, 1943, in Oshkosh, the son of the late Emil and Vivian (Woodward) Weitz. He graduated from Oshkosh High School and attended the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, bowling and walking. He will be remembered for his love of drinking Pepsi.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Emil Weitz and Vivian Kannenberg. He is survived by his stepfather, Kenneth Kannenberg of Oshkosh ; half-brother, Jeffrey (Patti) Kannenberg and their children: Kyle and Katie, all of Oshkosh; a special caregiving aunt, Jalane (Dave) Otto of Green Bay; aunt, Elsie Weitz of Oakland, CA; cousins and other relatives and friends.
The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at the Seefeld Funeral Home. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Lakeview Memorial Park.
