Devan D. Beal, age 22, of Berlin, died Friday, September 26, 2014. He was born on May 10, 1992, the son of Alan and Peggy Dodd Henriksen. Devan was employed by Rippin Good Cookies and the Magnum prior to his death. He was a talented woodworker, enjoyed boating and anything motorized. Devan was known to do things "retro" and he would be your best friend once you got to know him. Survivors include his mother, Peggy (William) Pongratz; his father, Alan (Becky) Henriksen; a daughter, Serenity Beal, and her mother, Ashley Beal; his siblings, Jamie (DJ) Henriksen, Shannon (Andrew) McGeehan, Sara (Josh) Heine, and Derek (Angela) Henriksen; two half-sisters, Elizabeth and Amber Henriksen; step-siblings, Melissa Pongratz, Krystal Pongratz, Shawn (fiend-Liz) Pongratz, and Cody (friend- Lyndsey) Pongratz; grandparents, Amy Henriksen and Patrick Dodd; his girlfriend, Veronica Denman; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2014, at 4:00 p.m. at Kwiatkowski Funeral Home, 425 Jefferson Ave., Omro, Wisconsin. A time of visiting and sharing of memories will be held at the funeral home from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
