Diana M. Swenson, age 70, of Oshkosh, died Wednesday afternoon, February 20, 2008 at Mercy Medical Center. She was born on August 25, 1937 in Illinois to Reginald and Norma (Paap) Goetschius.

Diana was employed by Morgan Door Company as a receptionist, later, by Winnebago County Sheriff Department, and lastly was a receptionist for Square D Company until retiring to care for her elderly mother. She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church. Diana enjoyed time spent with her family, her beloved cats, and cheering for the Green Bay Packers,

Left to mourn her passing is a son, Harold Swenson, of Oshkosh; two daughters, Patricia E. Roberts and Susan (Roger) Ward, both of Oshkosh; four grandchildren, Michelle (Davis) Reyes, Heather Swenson, Christopher Swenson, and Kendra Swenson, all of Oshkosh; two great-grandchildren, Ashley and Michael; and a sister, Cheryl (R.P.) Schulz, of Oshkosh. Preceding Diana in death are her parents; a son, Michael David Swenson; and a grandson, Michael David Kromm.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 300 North Eagle Street, with Reverend Timothy Routh officiating. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Weyauwega. A time of visitation and sharing of memories will be held on Saturday from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
