Diane M. Nelson, age 60, of Oshkosh, died Friday morning, March 13, 2009 at Mercy Medical Center. Born on November 9, 1948 to George and Marion (Kellett) Nelson, Diane was a life-long Oshkosh resident. A Certified Nursing Assistant, Diane was employed by various nursing and assisted living facilities for 30 years.
Left to mourn her passing are two sisters, Gerry (Charlie) Karns and Delores Kruse; nieces and nephews, Doris Knepparth, Ralph (Cathy) Kruse, Richard (Tina) Kruse, Darlene Kruse, Robert Kruse, Ronald (Cindy) Kruse, Denise (Mike) Silski, and Randy Kruse; many other nieces and nephews; and several special friends, "Railroad" Ron, Mike, Carolyn, Georgiana, Nancy, Charlie, and her little buddy, Felisha. Preceding Diane in death are her parents and two sisters, Carol Nelson and Loretta Brandl.
A memorial service to remember Diane's life will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in Wyldewood Baptist Church, 3030 Witzel Ave., with Reverend Randall King officiating.
