Diane L. Steiner, age 73 of Oshkosh passed away peacefully at Parkview Health Center Pavilion on Saturday, January 14, 2006. She was born in Chicago, to the late Emil and Carolyn (Seese) Langenegger, on May 8, 1932. She moved from Chicago to Fond du Lac in 1942. In the early 1950's she moved to Oshkosh and married James F. Steiner.

Diane was generous, loving and caring; she always put the needs of others before herself. She loved her children and grandchildren and will be greatly missed. She enjoyed travel, the outdoors, reading, pets, and interior decorating.

Diane is survived by her children: James "Rick" (Jane) Steiner, Jerald D. Steiner, and Linda (Ken) Korsch; her grandchildren: Shawna, Joshua, Anna, and Jacob Steiner, along with Kelly and Kira Korsch; and sister: Suzanne Langenegger.

A memorial mass will be held for Diane at 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 18, 2006, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1025 West 5th Avenue, with Father William Van De Kreeke officiating. Family and friends are invited to attend a time of visitation and support at the church from 4:00 P.M. until the time of the mass. Inurnment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. A memorial has been established.
