Dolores Katherine "Dolly" Masterson passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at age 84. She was the daughter of Alfred and Katherine (Broderick) Paulick. She married Donald James Masterson in St. John Catholic Church of which she was a lifetime member.
They had seven children: Gary (Sandra) of Kenosha, Mark, Bradley (Vicki), Jay (Kathy) Masterson of Oshkosh, Lynn (Dave) Schwerin of Ozark, Missouri, Donna (Glen) Parish of Coloma and Sandra (Dale) Pommerening of Oshkosh.
Surviving her are her grandchildren: Mark, Joshua, Justin, Nathan and Jamie Masterson, Kevin (Belinda) Parish of Middletown, Virginia, Jason Parish of Racine, Stacey (Donald Jr.) Wright of Kenosha, Christopher, Benjamin (Jenna), Matthew and Nicholas Schwerin of Ozark, Missouri, and Benjamin, Matthew and Stephanie Pommerening of Oshkosh. She had seven great-grandchildren, Shelby Lynn Juergensmeier, Elizabeth and Donald Wright III, Grayson and Sawyer Parish, Abigail Parish and Airalynn Broadway.
Also surviving are three brothers, Peter (Nita), Tom (Carol) and Steven Paulick of Oshkosh; and three sisters, Nancy Herbst of Winneconne, Edith (Dave) Zemske of Oshkosh and Suellen (Bill) Longsine of Wautoma.
Preceding her in death were her husband Donald, son Mark, parents Alfred and Katherine Paulick, brothers Clifford, Neil, Alfred, David and Stanley, sisters Corliss Blansette, Shirley Diener and Karen Marquardt and grandparents William and Martha Schmidt Broderick and Anton and Theresa Mondl Paulick.
She was a charter member of the Catholic War Veterans Auxiliary, active with Campfire Girls and Den Mother for Cub Scouts. She loved doing crafts, crocheting and sewing for the children. She also collected porcelain dolls and had started her granddaughters in collecting them.
Favorite times were Christmas with the family all together, traveling, flying, reading and camping, She worked for Miles Kimball for 25 years, retired and loved volunteer work at Marion Manor and ADVOCAP.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 6, 2010, at St Jude the Apostle Parish (Sacred Heart site) at the corner of 6th Avenue and Knapp Street in Oshkosh with the Rev. Thomas Reynebeau as celebrant. She will be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery following this service. Family and friends may gather at Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street, on Friday from 4-7:00 p.m. A prayer service will take place at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue at the church on Saturday beginning at 10:00 a.m. Condolences may be shared online at www.seefeldfuneral.com.
