Obituary

Donald O. Boe, age 67, of Omro, died Wednesday evening, April 28, 2010, at Mercy Medical Center. He was born April 20, 1943, in Neenah, the son of Milton and Thelma (Hanson) Boe. Throughout his working career, Don had worked at several foundries and also at Chase Roofing. Don was an animal lover who also enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

Don is survived and will be missed by his wife, Brenda of Omro; children, Doreen (Scott) Tessaro of Berlin, Douglas (Rebecca) Magnuson of Neenah, Donald (Cheryl) Magnuson of Santa Monica, CA and Dennis (Fiancée Crystal) Boe of Green Bay; grandchildren, Nicole (Jesse) Brice, Doug Magnuson, Jr., Nichole (Jesse) Carpenter, Lexi Magnuson, Austin Boe, Jessica (Cory) Lux, Kaylee Tessaro and Karisa Tessaro; six great grandchildren, son-in-law, Mike Schmidt; brothers, LeRoy (Bonnie) Boe of Larsen, Norbert (Pat) Boe of Florence, Oregon and Jeff (Connie) Boe of Neenah; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant daughter, his other daughter, Donna Schmidt and nephew, Allan Boe.

In respect to Don's memory, the family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday, May 4, 2010, at Grace Ev. Lutheran Church, 508 County Road M, Pickett, from 5:00 P.M. until the time of the Memorial Service at 6:00 P.M. with Rev. Russell Kloehn officiating. In lieu of flowers, a memorial in Don's name is being established.

The family would like to thank Pastor Kloehn, the ICU Staff and 5th Floor Nurses at Mercy Medical Center for the wonderful care given to Don and the rest of his family. A special thanks to his long time dear buddies, Donny Hopp, Bobby Okon and Dick Pease.
