Donald George Bohn, age 85, of Waukau, died unexpectedly at home on June 20, 2015. Born July 30, 1929, he was born and lived his life in Waukau, Wisconsin. Don was the son of Warner and Laura (Kafer) Bohn. He attended Waukau Elementary School for grades 1-8, and then spent his freshman year at South Park Junior High in Oshkosh. At the end of the year he took a good looking girl, named Dolores Albrecht, to the junior high prom. Don graduated from Oshkosh High with Honors and earned a bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering from UW-Madison, 1951, with Honors. Don and Dolores were an item from 1944-2014 (70 years), married for 63 years. Both were members of the Waukau United Methodist Church. After college, Don joined the Bohn Family Enterprise. He lived and loved his work, an officer in all the family ventures. He loved all sports and went to thousands of events, many with special friend Ronald King. They followed teams and players from coast to coast. One of Don's favorite teams was the UW-Oshkosh baseball team.Don is survived by his children: Michael (Gail) Bohn of Rush Lake, Bruce (Barbara) Bohn of Waukau, Nancy (Lance) Crouch of East Hampton, CT; grandchildren: Nicole Evans, Jason Bohn; Cori (Adam) Patrick, Mikaela (Luke) Hatfield; Wesley, Jillian, Claire Crouch; great-grandchildren: Laura and Guy Evans; Gideon, Breck, Kieran and Melia Patrick; Traeger and Ataly Hatfield; siblings: brothers and sisters in-law, Betty (Melvin) Wirth of Waukau, Warren (Gloria) Bohn of Waukau, Loretta (Edson) Allen of Oak Park Heights, MN , Gloria (Michael) Smith of Oshkosh, and Douglas (Mary Ahonen) Bohn of Oshkosh. He was preceded in death by his wife Dolores, and granddaughter Sarah Bohn.Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday, June 25 from 3:00pm until 8:00pm and then on Friday June 26 at Waukau United Methodist Church, 2644 State Rd. 116, Waukau, from 9:00am until the time of service at 11:00am with the Rev. Tommy Sukhyun Jung, Pastor and Rev. Neil Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Waukau Cemetery, Waukau, WI. A memorial fund in Don's name is being established. "Good Times"
