Donald F. Rasmussen, age 87, of Oshkosh died Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at Omro Care Center. He was born March 1, 1921 in Oshkosh to Louis and Helen (Wade) Rasmussen. In 1939, Donald graduated from Oshkosh High School and attended Oshkosh Business College from 1947 to 1949. He worked in several offices in Oshkosh. Donald married Loraine Ellen Ziegenhagen on July 4, 1953 and she preceded him in death on November 10, 1983. He later married Hazel Duer Wood on May 20, 1987 and she preceded him in death on February 13, 1994.

Donald was a member of First Congregational Church, Oshkosh Masonic Lodge #27, Tyrian Chapter #15, Councel #8, Commandry #11, The Scottish Rite of Green Bay, Beja Shrine Temple of Green Bay, Eastern Star and White Shrine, and was Past Watchman of Shepards of the White Shrine. Donald also served with the U.S. Army during World War II.

Donald is survived by his niece Karen Rasmussen of Maryland, nephews Frederick (Mary Ann) Burr of Oak Creek, WI and Charles (Barbara) Burr of Oshkosh. He was preceded in death by his wives, parents, sisters: Dorothy Kellner and Ruth Burr and his brother John Rasmussen.
