Donald F. Reimer, age 80, of Oshkosh, died Friday evening, June 7, 2013, at his residence. Born on November 2, 1932, in Oshkosh, to Frank and Elsie (Villnow) Reimer, Don was a 20 year career military man. He served his country with the U.S. Marines for 12.5 years and the U.S. Army for 7.5 years in Korea and later in Vietnam. After retiring from the military, Don became an accountant and was employed in the hotel industry, at American Excelsior, and Oshkosh Truck.
He is survived by four children, Craig (Mary) Reimer, Cheryl (Keith) Reinke, Lori (David Requa) Reimer, and Lynn Reimer; four grandchildren, Stephanie, David, Jordan, and Bradley; a brother, Edward (Phyllis) Reimer; and several nieces and nephews. Don is preceded in death by his parents, a son, Keith Reimer, a sister, Faye Bronson, and a brother, Robert Reimer.
In keeping with Don's wishes, no public visitation or services will be held and private family service will be held at a later date.
