Donald J. Sosnoski, age 80, of Oshkosh, passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2016. He was born in Oshkosh on August 10, 1936 the son of the late Ann Sosnoski. On May 4, 1963 he married his wife of 53 years, Bonnie Keller, at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Berlin. Don worked for many years at Paine Lumber and later for the Oshkosh Housing Authority. He enjoyed gardening, painting, puzzles, and especially family get-togethers. Don will be remembered for his love of family.
Don is survived by his wife, Bonnie; children: Jackie (Scott) Lubecke, Daniel (Tracy) Sosnoski and their children, Heather and Jay; Kim (Scott) Christy and their children, MacKenzie and Nathan; and Kerri (Kent) Stadler and their son, Cameron; sister, Rosemary Bednarek; and brother-in-law, Ken (Joan) Keller. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ken (Nancy) Sosnoski; mother and father-in-law, Leo and Irene Keller; and brother-in-law, Bob Bednarek.
The memorial mass will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at ST. JUDE'S, SACRED HEART SITE, 519 Knapp St., Oshkosh. Friends will be received at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the mass.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund in Don's name is being established.
