Obituary
Donna Reitz of Van Dyne, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at the age of 91, with family by her side on Sunday, April 6, 2025. Donna was born on March 17,1934, the daughter of Ervin and Erna Babler. She married Rexford Reitz on April 25,1951, together they had six loving children.
Donna worked at SNC Manufacturing for 28 years. Rex and Donna enjoyed many years at their cottage with family near Tomahawk. She was a member of First English Lutheran Church, where she enjoyed volunteering at Neighborhood Center, Altar Guild and Quilting.
Donna is survived by six children, Douglas (Andrea) Reitz, Dianne (Steve) Sagmeister, Barbara Williams, Sandy (Mark) Kollmann, Theodore Reitz, and Julie (David) Doepke. She is further survived by 14 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.
Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Rexford; her parents; sister, Joyce O'hearn; brother, Clifford Babler; daughter-in-law, Rose Reitz; grandson, Robert Reitz; and granddaughter, Jessica Kollmann.
The family would like to thank the North Fond du Lac EMT's, Van Dyne First Responders, and St. Agnes ER staff and doctors for assisting with mom's care.
Services will be held at Noon, Monday April 14, 2025, at First English Lutheran Church, 1013 Minnesota Street. Visitation will take place at 10 am until the time of service. Burial will be at 2:30pm, at Ellenwood Cemetery, 2080 South Washburn Street. Seefeld Funeral Homes is assisting the family.
