Dorothy M. Cartwright, age 78 of Oshkosh, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, February 24, 2005. She was born on September 24, 1926 in Appleton, a daughter of the late George and Clara (Olive) Jury. She married Ronald G. Cartwright on September 6, 1947 in Oshkosh. He preceded her in death on April 19, 2000. Dorothy had worked for and retired from Miles Kimball Company. She greatly enjoyed her monthly luncheons with fellow retirees.
Survivors include two daughters, Judy (Joe) Oesterreich of Omro and Kathy (Earl) Griswold of Oshkosh; three sons, Ron (Cathy) Cartwright of Green Bay, Don Cartwright of Green Bay and Mike (Yvonne) Cartwright of Green Lake; grandchildren, Joe Oesterriech Jr., Missy Plueddeman, Keith Ryan Cartwright, Heidi (Jeff) Marquis, Corey (Lori) Cartwright, Ben Cartwright, Curt Cartwright and Johnathan Cartwright; an adopted granddaughter, MichelleOesterriech; great-grandchildren, Justin Oesterriech, Jourdain Oesterriech, Emmanuel Oesterriech, Jerikka Oedbrecht, Jacob Oedbrecht, Bayleigh Marquis and Tyler Marquis. She is further survived by brothers, George Jr. (Laura), Bill Sr. (Della), Tom (Sandy) and Jack Jury. She was preceded in death by a brother, Glen Jury and two infant brothers; a great-grandson, Austin Kazik.
Funeral services for Dorothy will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at the Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street with the Reverend Marlin Mormon officiating. Friends and family may call at the funeral chapel on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park Cemetery. A memorial fund is being established.
