Dorothy S. Demler, age, 91, died Sunday, August 23, 2015, at Aurora Medical Center. Born November 11, 1923, in Oshkosh, the daughter of Albert and Sophie (Reinke) Zentner, Dorothy married Clifford "Speed" J. Demler on April 11, 1942, in Oshkosh.
Dorothy was employed by W.T. Grant Co. for 15 years. She later retired from Kimberly-Clark Corp., in Neenah, after 29 years of employment. She was a member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ.
Survivors include special people; Robert Koch, Barbara Stilp, Mary and Mike Strycker, and Joe Scherer, who were there for her and made her life a happier place to be. She is further survived by cousins and other friends.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and three brothers, Eldor, Edwin, and Arnold Zentner.
A graveside service will take place Wednesday, August 26, 2015, 11:00 a.m., at Lake View Memorial Park, with Pastor Andi Wolf officiating. In lieu of flowers, a memorial, the Clifford and Dorothy Demler Ministry Scholarship Fund, has been established.
