Douglas Bryon Jari, age 50, of Omro, passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Theda Clark Medical Center. Born November 1, 1966, in Aurora, Illinois, the son of Rodney and Darlene (Bokath) Jari, Doug married Karen Gimenez on June 23, 2008. He was employed as a HVAC Service Technician at Drucks. Doug enjoyed time spent on his Harley motorcycle, road trips, camping, holiday cooking, organizing charitable functions, woodworking & tinkering, and being a true patriot.Survivors include his wife, Karen Jari; his father, Rodney (Linda) Jari; daughter, Keri (Jazmine) Drexler; brother, Todd (Jodi) Jari; two nephews, Spencer and Brady Jari; half-sister, Mandy (Avery) Allen and family; two step-daughters, Beth (Michael) Gimenez Vanderpoel and Julia Barrette; aunts, uncles, in laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many special friends, and his dog, Buddy. A time of visiting and sharing of memories will be held from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 9, 2017, at Grace Lutheran Church, 720 Jackson Ave., Omro. A memorial service will be held at the church at 5:00 p.m., with Pastor Richard Bartholomew officiating.
