She is further survived by a twin sister: Elda Gabryshak of Zellwood, Florida; a brother: Orlo (Norma) Manweiler of Berlin, Wisconsin; a sister-in-law: Hazel Vick of Waupun, along with several nieces and nephews. Preceding Edna in death are her parents, a brother: Alvin Manweiler, a sister-in-law: Margaret Vick, and three brothers-in-law: Paul Gabryshak, Marvin Vick, and Irvin Vick.
Edna was a homemaker and helped her husband on the farm. She loved the outdoors and in later years especially enjoyed taking rides down the lanes to view the progress of the crops in the fields. Her favorite pastime activities were watching birds on the lawn and in the woods at her home and putting puzzles together. Her family will always remember her for her great inner strength, faith, and calmness with which she met the various problems that she had to deal with. She will also be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother where family came first.
Edna was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Highway K, Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 19, 2004 at 1:30 p.m. at Lake View Memorial Park Chapel, 2786 Algoma Blvd., with Reverend Russell Kloehn officiating. Entombment will follow at the mausoleum. Family and friends may call at the chapel on Thursday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Memorials in Edna's memory are requested to Zion Lutheran Church.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Steven Blaha for his professional and compassionate care of Edna during her many health problems. They also wish to extend their appreciation to the staff of 2 west of Bethel Home for their concern for and care of Edna while she was a resident.
