Edward (Ed) Elmer Haedt, 63, of Waukau, passed away on September 17th at Mercy Medical Center after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was a highly successful white tail deer hunter throughout his life with many trophy mounts to prove it. His prowess at walleye and perch fishing on the Winnebago system kept many friends' and family's freezers well stocked. In later years he became a NASCAR racing fan and cheered on Matt Kenseth.

The family would like to express their heart felt thanks to the Mercy Cancer Center, the Affinity Hospice staff; and the staff on PCU1 and Sub acute units of Mercy Medical Center for all of the caring, love, and support they provided Ed and his family during his illness and passing. A special thanks to Dr. Gremminger and the staff that treated him like a friend instead of a patient. To all the many family and friends that supported Ed and his family during his illness, we could not have done it without you.
