Edward Watson, Jr., age 81, died Monday, September 13, 2010, at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca. Born March 14, 1929, the son of Edward and Johanna (Klumpstra) Watson Sr., Ed was a graduate of Oshkosh High School. He was employed by Rockwell and E.D. Chase Roofing for a number of years. In his free time he loved hunting, fishing, and being outdoors up north, in the Boulder Junction area.
Left to mourn Edward's passing are his sons: Thomas (Julie) Watson and Mitchell (Rebecca Willis) Watson, both of Oshkosh; granddaughter, Hayley Watson; sisters, Doris Crane, June Binder, Gloria Ayers, Vervaine Kimball and Darlene Brunette. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Janet; and the mother of his children, Gloria.
Memorial service for Edward will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 17, 2010, at Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street, Oshkosh. A time of visiting and sharing of memories will take place at the chapel on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
