Obituary

Edwin A. Nesbit, age 69, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2022. We lost one of the greatest men in my life. My father Edwin A. Nesbit lost his four-month battle with multiple infections. Edwin will be remembered for his selfless acts of giving to others and helping anyone who needed help. Ed had the ability to smile again after facing multiple major adversities that most of us will never know. Ed's endurance to recover is second to none. He loved conversing with everyone, he would bring a smile to their day. With Ed's reunification with his wife Karen, daughter Tricia, son Andrew, and granddaughter Jasmine, Ed is now getting all those smiles back. Ed will be greatly missed for all that he has done to help anyone in need and with full joy & glory when they succeed. I love you, but, Jesus loves you the best. Rest in peace Dad.

Ed was born in DeForest, Wi on June 7, 1953. Graduated Class of '72 from DeForest High School. He married his lifelong love, Karen Triggs, on 4/30/77. Ed spent most of his adult life employed with Evco Plastics, 30-plus years as Head of the Maintenance Department. Together Karen & Ed raised a beautiful family in Omro. The Nesbit's as a family enjoyed many a Northwoods camping trip. Ed enjoyed watching the Packers & fantasy football league with his son Chad, Farmers' market festivities with his son Joel, and fishing with his sister Dorothy. Ed recently loved his time spent at the Holiday Inn Express serving hotel guests their complimentary breakfast. Daughter-in-law Holly filled his days with cooking, road trips, and looking for treasures thrifting. Ed enjoyed all the Mayer children's activities & AC/DC parties. There is a big fish story; a 54# carp Ed wrangled in during his youth. Go, Eddie!

Ed leaves behind many, many friends & family, son Chad Nesbit, son Joel (Kelly) Nesbit, daughter-in-law Holly Butcher, son-in-law Todd Ellis, father-in-law Steve Triggs, and grandchildren, Violet, Olyvia, Taytum, and Ashton, and aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Ed is preceded in death by his wife Karen, daughter Trisha, son Andrew, granddaughter Jasmine, parents Lorraine & Donald, brother Allen, and mother-in-law Judy Triggs.

Ed passed with peace & comfort in the presence of family and friends at his side. Ed's smile, grace & goodness will always be with us and now he is with his heavenly family at peace reaping all the rewards of heaven. Thanks be to God.
