Eileen H. Bornick, 96, died on Thursday, June 26, 2014, at the Montello Care Center and went to be with her Heavenly Father. Eileen was born on September 21, 1917, in Princeton, WI, the daughter of Albert and Hannah (Hennig) Dumdey. She graduated from Princeton High School in 1936. Eileen married Alfie H. Bornick on December 29, 1940. She enjoyed gardening, tending to her roses and dahlias and also received much enjoyment from watching and feeding the birds in her yard.

She is survived by her daughter, Diane (Ralph) Buchholz of Princeton, WI; grandchildren and great grandchildren, Dawn Buchholz of Jacksonville, FL., Elaine (Dan) Metzger and their children, Olivia and Sadie of Oconomowoc, WI and David Buchholz and his wife Anita and their children, Isabella and Sophia of Albuquerque, NM. She was preceded in death by her parents, by her husband, Alfie (July 14, 1979), sisters, Gretchen Mueller, Margaret Coda and an infant brother, Elmer.

Visitation will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church in Princeton on Monday, June 30, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Robert Pless officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery in Princeton.
