Eileen Palecek, 95, passed away on August 5, 2022. She was born on April 30, 1927 to Arthur and Minnie (Cross) King, in Omro, Wisconsin.

Eileen worked at the Omro Public library as an assistant librarian and loved to travel and see the world. She was always willing to volunteer and help out the community. Eileen had a good sense of humor, always had a smile on her face, and made everyone her friend. Eileen will be remembered with her husband Ruben for the reunions that were held at the homestead, and all the wonderful memories that were had there.

Surviving Eileen are her children, Cindy Palecek and Mark (Pat) Palecek; grandchildren, Tim (April) Palecek, Kyle (Amanda) Palecek, Erin Palecek, Becca McMullin, Bryce McMullin, and Amy (Jeff) Hill; she is further survived by her great-grandchildren, Lexi, Lanie, Lydia, Arlyn, Lucas, and Ezri.

Preceding her in death, are her husband, Ruben; children, Stan Palecek, and Joan Palecek.

A visitation will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 730 Madison Street, Omro, on Tuesday August 16, 2022 from 9am until the time of service at 11am. Eileen will be reunited with her husband at Eureka Cemetery.
