Elaine M. Bonneau, age 87, a resident of Omro Care Center, passed away early Thursday morning, November 29, 2007. Elaine was born September 4, 1920 in Green Bay, WI. She was raised in Bear Creek and later moved to Milwaukee at the age of 15. There she met and married Ronald V. Bonneau on June 10, 1939. As an Air Force wife for 23 years, they lived in Arizona, Kansas, England and California before moving to Oshkosh in 1965. They finally settled in Omro in 1979. Elaine was employed at K-Mart until her retirement in 1980. When not working, she enjoyed reading novels, playing cribbage, Scrabble and Bingo and doing crossword puzzles.

Elaine is loved and will be missed by her children, Roland J. "Butch" Bonneau of CO and Rolaine (Randy Quante) Bonneau of Omro; grandchildren, Charmaine (JT) Makatura of CO, Therese (Jamie) Dean of NC, Ronald (Paula) Bonneau of CO, Claudine Bonneau (Skot) of Oshkosh and Justin Scofield (Christine) of Madison; great grandchildren, Joshua and Matthew Dean of NC and Rozlyn Bonneau of CO; daughter in law, Patty (David Scofield) Bonneau of Oshkosh, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Amelia Willing; step father, Richard Willing; husband, Ronald; sons, Dean and Charles; and grandchildren, Lorraine and Dean P.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Sunday, December 2, 2007 at the Omro Funeral Home from 1:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M.
