Elaine M. Harris, age 49, of Ripon, WI, passed away on February 15, 2017, peacefully in her home. Elaine grew up in Eureka, WI and graduated from Omro High School. She had worked for Berlin Glove for 17 years, then went on to do the work she really had a passion for, and that was caregiving. Her most recent caregiving job was at Prairie Place in Ripon, WI. She loved her job dearly, her co-workers and the residents she cared for. Elaine lived for her grandchildren which she had around her all the time. She loved the outdoors, gardening, planting her flowers, baking cookies, decorating for every holiday and spending time with her family. She had an infectious laugh and smile and had an amazing personality. Elaine was always putting other people before herself and was always looking out for the people around her.Elaine is going to be remembered by many, especially her daughter, Lindsay Harris; grandchildren, Bianca, Jasmine, LeBron; her soul mate and companion, Howard; sisters and brothers, Lori (Joe), Mark, Jeff (Vicki), Linda (Don), Jason; all her co-workers and residents she took care of. She was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Ruth Harris and her sister, Peggy Harris.The family will received relatives and friends on Thursday, February 23, 2017, at Eureka United Methodist Church, Eureka from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 7:00p.m. with Rev. Peter Berg officiating. In lieu of flowers, a memorial in her name is being established.
