Elaine D. Staege, age 52, of Oshkosh, died Friday evening, January 7, 2011, at Mercy Medical Center. She was born on February 11, 1958 to William and Alicia (Welle) Staege.
During her 15 years in Tennessee, Elaine was employed at Bordo Health Care for nine years in the housekeeping department. Elaine moved back to Wisconsin and was employed by Bethel Home in the Laundry Department this past year. In the 1980's, she was a 12 year employee of Oshkosh B'Gosh.
Left to mourn her passing is a son, Chris (Teri) Weyenberg of Oshkosh; her siblings, Jody Tobin of Arizona, Becky Lutz of Amherst, Wisconsin, Donna Ney, Beth Staege, and Jeff Staege, all of Oshkosh; nieces and nephews, Troy, James, Jeffrey, Jordon, Cory, Destiny, Levi, Cody, Mike, Crystal, Sarah, Brittney, Devon, and Morgan; and 14 great-nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2011, at 8:00 p.m. in Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street, with David Chapin officiating. A time of visitation and sharing of memories will be held on Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral chapel. Refreshments will be provided following the service.
