Elaine C. Wyman, age 94, of Butte Des Morts, died Saturday evening, April 19, 2008 at Bethel Home. She was born on September 18, 1913 in Rosholt, Wisconsin to George and Helen (Windorf) Philbrick. Elaine married Clyde L. Wyman in 1941 and he preceded her in death on July 14, 1976.


Elaine was a member of Christ Lutheran Church. She was a foster parent who enjoyed quilting and flower gardening.


Left to mourn her passing is two sons, C. Lester Wyman of Rockledge, Florida and Steven (Rebecca) Wyman of Butte Des Morts; six grandchildren, Corey (Kay) Wyman, Shawn Wyman, Cole Wyman, Christopher Wyman, Heather Wyman, and Stephanie Wyman; six step-grandchildren, Julie Maxwell, Kim Heltemes, Jim Heltemes, Gary Wyman, Dennis Wyman, and Pete Wyman; and several great-grandchildren. Preceding Elaine in death is her husband, a daughter, Helen Wyman, and her brothers and sister.


Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street, with Reverend Eric Quinney-Burnard officiating. Interment will follow the services at Ellenwood Cemetery.
