Elizabeth M. Griep, age 89 of Oshkosh died Monday, March 16, 2009 at Park View Health Center. She was born February 3, 1920 in Oshkosh to John and Mary (Glaser) Griep. Elizabeth was very proud of her nursing career, having been a Registered Nurse in St. Charles, Missouri for a number of years and then moving to Oshkosh where she was a Surgical Nurse at Theda Clark in Neenah until her retirement. Following her career as a nurse, Elizabeth worked for Advocap. She loved animals, especially cats.

Elizabeth is survived by her brother, Fred (Helen) Griep of Oshkosh, nieces: Mary Verwiel, Catherine Truyman, Kelly Stouf, Arlene Prickett, Cathy Parsons, Carol Boede, Jane Griep, and nephews, Jerome Griep, Michael Griep and James Casper. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Viola Griep, Hattie Casper, Catherine Griep, Roman Griep, and Pauline Vilz.
