Obituary
Elizabeth M. Humphreys, age 96, of Oshkosh, died Wednesday evening, May 23, 2007 at Bethel Home. She was born in Winneconne on August 12, 1910 to John and Jean (Wilson) Humphreys. Elizabeth received her BA Degree in Education from the University of North Dakota in Valley City and her Masters Degree from the University of California in San Diego.
Elizabeth taught in a one room schoolhouse in North Dakota, Consolidated School in Wing, North Dakota, Oak Grove School in Oshkosh, Middleton, Wisconsin, and retired from the Oak Park School District in Illinois.
Survivors include a sister, Helen Seidl of Oshkosh and a niece, Barbara Page of San Antonia, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Esther Page. Following Elizabeth's wishes no formal funeral services will be held and burial will be in Zoar Cemetery next to her parents.
