Elizabeth M. Sherwood, age 87, of Oshkosh, died Saturday evening, March 9, 2013, at Lakeshore Manor. Born on September 17, 1925, in Kaukauna, to Henry and Mary (Verhoven) Martzahl, Elizabeth married Frank Sherwood on May 22, 1951, in Seymour, and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include a daughter, four sons, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sons, two grandchildren, and siblings.
In keeping with Elizabeth's wishes, no formal services will be held and a private family gathering will take place at a later date.
