Elsie F. Ferree, age 92, passed away Thursday, July 10, 2008, at Harbor House in Oshkosh. Elsie was born December 9, 1915 in Hickory, Oklahoma. She married Jewel Preston Bolles, they were married for twenty years. She then married Robert Ferree of Terre Haute, Indiana. She attended First Presbyterian Church in Omro, and was a member of Friends of the Library.

Elsie is survived by her two children, Barbara (Russell) Rank of Oshkosh and Jewel Preston (Carol) Bolles, Jr. of Bell Flower, California, seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. She is further survived by her brother, R.L. Powell of Portales, New Mexico; her sisters, Linnie Curran of Morrison, Colorado and Roberta Malcolm of San Bernadino, California. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; and three grandchildren, Cheri Llorens, Kelly Rank and Bonnie Bolles.

Visitation for Elsie will be on Monday, July 14, 2008 at the Omro Funeral Home from 9:00 to the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. She will be laid to rest in Waukau Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff of Harbor House and Affinity Hospice for their care.
