Elvera W. Nelson, age 92, of Oshkosh, passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at Tower View Villa in Rosendale. Elvera was born on February 1, 1922, in Stockholm, Wisconsin, to Oscar and Hilda Anna Marie (Anderson) Wallin. She married Guy Nelson. Elvera always took care of her family. They were very important to her.
Elvera is loved and will be missed by her sons, Myron (Michelle) Nelson of Oshkosh, Rick (Lynette) Nelson of Neenah and Tom (Paula) Nelson of Neenah; grandchildren, Tommy (Tammy), Travis (Kaylee) and MaKenzie; great grandchildren, Tyler, Trista, Molly and Caleb; sisters, Doris Erickson and Betty Theis; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy; grandchild, Macey and six sisters and two brothers.
A private Memorial Service is being held to honor Elvera's life at Faith Lutheran Church, Oshkosh. The family would like to thank the whole staff of Tower View Villa for the love and care given to Elvera.
