Erma Giacoletto, age 90, of Oshkosh, died peacefully in her sleep on November 6, 2006 at Evergreen Nursing Home. She was born to Cesar and Elizabeth (Regalene) Velio on December 16, 1915 in Milwaukee. In 1937 she married Paul Giacoletto in Milwaukee.
Erma was a very loving lady. She was a foster parent for Holy Family Adoption for many years. Erma will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and foster mother.
Survivors include her son: Ken (Peggy) Giacoletto of Green Lake, two granddaughters: Katrina (Jeff) Grewal of Green Lake and Kristal (Ben) Mott of Ripon; and six great-grandchildren: Maggie, Abigayle, and Elizabeth Grewal, and Matthew, Samuel, and Emma Mott of Ripon. Erma is further survived by one sister: Norma Keller of Bellflower, California. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, three sisters and one brother.
Private funeral services were held for Erma. Inurnment will take place at Forest Lawn Cemetery in California. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Erma's name at The Greenlake Conference Center, (920) 294-7328.
