Ervin John Langeberg, age 80, of Oshkosh, passed away peacefully at Bella Vista Assisted Living on January 26, 2013. Ervin was born September 16, 1932, the son of John "Happy Jack" and Henrietta (Jones) Langeberg. In his younger years, Ervin was a talented mechanic, and could talk about cars for hours. He enjoyed going out for dinner, taking walks, and reminiscing about his younger years.

Ervin is survived by his brothers, Meryle of Eureka, Rodney of Oshkosh; sister, Mary Kay (Lee) Poehlman of Waupaca; his friend and caregiver, Maria (Ben) Flores; nieces and nephews, Carol (Steve) Klismet, Chris (Carie) Poehlman, Margie (Vince) Bradley, Gerald Rosenthal, Edward Rosenthal and Paul (Diane) Rosenthal; great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; longtime friend, Ruth Gunderson; sister, Dolores Rosenthal; brother in law, David; brother, Julynn; nephews, David & John Rosenthal.
A special thanks to Bella Vista Assisted Living and Generations Hospice for the care given to Ervin. A private family service is being held.
