Estella V. Niemuth, age 84, of Mukilteo, Washington and formerly of Oshkosh, passed away at her residence on Sunday, December 31, 2006. She was born on October 1, 1922 in Everett, Pennsylvania to Howard and Minnie (Pittman) Pennell. Estella graduated from Everett High School in 1940. On September 12, 1947 Estella married John Niemuth in Oshkosh. She enjoyed working in various clerking and office positions before retiring from Safeway Corporation in 1986. Shortly thereafter she and her late husband, John, retired to the Mukilteo area. Estella enjoyed traveling, was a voracious reader, enjoyed gardening and flowers, and visiting with her wonderful neighbors.
Survivors include a sister-in-law, who lived with Estella in Mukilteo, Jerry Niemuth Potratz of Fremont, Wisconsin; two sisters, Janet Gilpin of Pennsylvania and Florence Williams of Florida; numerous nieces and nephews in Wisconsin, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania. Preceding Estella in death are her husband, John Niemuth on November 25, 2004, her parents, and a sister, Alva.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, January 12, 2007 at 4:00 p.m. in Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street, with Chaplain Pat Ward of Mukilteo Fire Department in Snohomish County, Washington, officiating. Estella will be laid to rest next to her husband, John, in Riverside Cemetery. A time of visitation and support will be held on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
