Obituary

Ethel A. Beahm, age 98, of Omro, died Saturday, February 23, 2008, surrounded by the love of her family at Parkview Health Center in Oshkosh. She was born October 12, 1909, in Oshkosh, the daughter of Max and Katherine (Yost) Loewen. Ethel married Earl J. Beahm on June 25, 1927 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Waupun. Together they purchased, established, and operated Beahm's Corner Store in Omro from 1952 – 1969.. Earl preceded Ethel in death on July 29, 1995. Family was very important to her, as she always enjoyed and cherished her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed traveling and cooking.

Mrs. Beahm is survived by her son, Donald (Louise) Beahm of Oshkosh; daughter in law, Mary Beahm of Waupun; grandchildren, Linda (Bob) Wink of South Lyon, MI, Jim (Cindi) Beahm of Winter Haven, FL., Kathy (Larry) Peck of Oshkosh, Tracie (Larry) Schmick of Oshkosh, Paula (Dave) Derksen of Stevens Point, John (Debbie) Beahm of Waupun, Brian (Ann)Beahm of Madison, Jane (Al) Watry of Waupun and Sue (Mike) Hansen of Markesan; 20 great grand children; 12 great great grandchildren; sister, Betty Emerson of Rapid City, SD; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl, son, Kenneth; infant daughter, Phyllis; three grandsons, Thomas, David and Michael; and sisters, Dorothy Egan and Mildred Abitz.

In respect to Ethel's memory, the family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at the Omro Funeral Home from 4:00 P.M. until the time of the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 P.M. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 233 E. Scott St., Omro, from 10: 00 A.M. until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. William Van De Kreke and Sr. Pam Biehl officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Waupun.

The family would like to express their most sincere gratitude to Fr. Bill and the 2nd floor nursing staff at Parkview Health Center for the care and concern shown Ethel and the rest of the family.
