Ethel Felker, age 94, of Oshkosh, died Saturday afternoon, October 8, 2011, at Park View Health Center. Born on September 17, 1917, in Unity, Wisconsin, to Arthur and Alvina (Johnson) Edblom, she was one of 11 children. Ethel married Harvey Felker on November 28, 1936 in Pickett, Wisconsin, and he preceded her in death. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Oshkosh.
Surviving Ethel is a son, Lane Felker of Oshkosh; two grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several siblings; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. in Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street, with Reverend Jeffrey Knoll officiating. Ethel will be laid to rest at Lake View Memorial Park, next to her husband, Harvey. A time of visitation and sharing of memories will be held on Wednesday from 12 Noon until service time.
