Eugene Thomas Hickey, age 78, of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, died on Wednesday, September 23, 2004 at the Bethel Home. Eugene was born on January 10, 1926 in Neenah a son of the late James S. and Mary A. (Kelly) Hickey. Eugene graduated from St. Mary s High School in Menasha and attended the University of Wisconsin in Menasha and Madison. He married the former Patricia Ann Chapleau on June 21, 1958 in Menasha. She preceded him in death on May 3, 1984.
Survivors include three sisters, Genevieve Wolf of Kiel, Wisconsin, Joan (Russell) Hickey of Brillion, Wisconsin and Rita Fahrenkrug of Menasha, Wisconsin. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friend, Rose Redmond.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Eugene on Monday, September 27, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Vincent Catholic Church 216 W. South Park Avenue. Family and friends may call at the church on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. Burial will be in St. Margaret Cemetery in Neenah.
