Obituary
Eugene S. Jeske, 97, passed away on August 20, 2024. He was born in Milwaukee, WI on June 15, 1927, to Samuel and Minnie (Seegert) Jeske.
He was an avid fisherman, wood carver, devout catholic and proudly served his country in World War II.
Gene is survived by his wife, Yvonne Jeske; children, Michael (Lee) Jeske, Jeffrey Jeske, Mark (Ann) Jeske, Keith Bruessel, Joel (Joanne) Bruessel, Donald (Kim) Bruessel, Gale Bruessel, Lea (Bill) Kitz, Doris (Randy) Brockman; sister, Judith Cortez; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death are his first wife, Elaine; son, Stephen Jeske; daughter, Mary Schmittner; son, Gregory Jeske; son, Brian Jeske; parents, Samuel and Minne (Seegert) Jeske; brothers, Kenneth, Ronald, and James Jeske.
Funeral services will be held at St Mary's Catholic Parish, 225 S. Hartwell Ave. Waukesha, WI on Saturday, August 24, 2024. Visitation will be from 9am until 11am with mass to follow. Gene will be laid to rest next to his first wife, Elaine at Holy Cross Cemetery in Milwaukee on Monday.
