Evelyn H. Becker age 94, of Oshkosh died Sunday, June 7, 2009 at Lakeshore Manor. She was born June 30, 1914 to Fred and Johanna (Klodzik) Woizeski in Bloomington, Illinois. Evelyn married Arthur Becker on August 24, 1940 in Oshkosh and he preceded her in death on March 6, 1985. Evelyn was a member of Martin Luther Evangelical Lutheran Church's Ladies Guild for a number of years. She also enjoyed gardening, playing bingo and cards, going to the casino on occasion, watching her beloved Packers, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Evelyn is survived by her loving daughter: Helen (Allan) Ader of Oshkosh; grandchildren: Craig (Amy) Ader of Germantown, JoAnn (Kevin) Baneck of Oshkosh, Linda (Mark) Otto of Winneconne, Ron (partner Marc Loy) Becker of Cincinnati, Ohio; Great-grandson Nicholas Ader; she is also survived by her brother Walter Woizeski of Winneconne and daughter-in-law Lois Becker of Winneconne. Evelyn is preceded in death by her husband, parents, son: Marvin Becker and siblings: Erna Shields, Emma Otto and Carl Woizeski.

Funeral service for Evelyn will be held at 5:00PM Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at Martin Luther Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1526 Algoma Boulevard, with Pastor Jeffrey Berg officiating. The family will greet friends at the church on Wednesday from 2:00pm until the time of the service. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Park.
