Evelyn G. Milner, 93, of Oshkosh, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2009, at Mercy Medical Center. She had been a resident of Court Tower. Evelyn was born on September 27, 1915 in Rush Lake to Herman and Anna (Kieck) Schliepp. Her marriage to Armin A. Milner took place in Oshkosh on June 8, 1938. They were steadfast through his death on April 24, 1970. Evelyn was the last surviving child in her family.
Carrying on her legacy are her children: Lois Milner of Omro, William Milner of Neenah, Richard (Monica) Milner of Buffalo, Minnesota, and Etta (Ted) Mathe of Omro; 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Caring for the home and family was Evelyn's main focus in life. She found pleasure in fishing, reading, traveling, going to rummage sales and playing Bingo.
The service to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 20th, at the Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street.
