Obituary

On Saturday, June 23, 2018 the Lord called home his loving daughter Evelyn L. Raddatz. She was born in Oshkosh, the daughter of Gottlieb "George" and Katherine (Kinzel) Schock. On May 29, 1943 Evelyn married Victor G. Raddatz of Oshkosh. She was a lifetime member of Zion Lutheran Church in Oshkosh. Evelyn will always be remembered as a caretaker, putting everyone's needs before her own. She was known for her love of cooking and insatiable sweet tooth. She was the loving matriarch of the family.

Evelyn is survived by her brother, Kenneth Schock of Phoenix, Az; sisters: Eleanor Mottl of Delafield, WI and Betty Wideman of Freemont, WI; cousin, Marge Schock; best friend, Carol Dehn; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor; her parents; infant children: Clarence, Betty Lou and Barbara Ann; and brothers: Lawrence and Clarence Schock.

A visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 29, 2018 in the chapel in Lakeview Memorial Park 2786 Algoma Blvd., Oshkosh, with Rev. Jeffrey Knoll officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the charity of your choice in Evelyn's name.
