Faye M. Oestreich, age 80, of Oshkosh, passed away at her home after a brief illness on Thursday evening, February 10, 2005. She was born on March 15, 1924 in Oshkosh, a daughter of the late George and Elizabeth (Felker) Weigandt. She married Marcus Robert Oestreich on September 21, 1946 in Oshkosh. He preceded her in death on November 5, 1963. Faye was a longtime member of Zion Lutheran Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Cynthia (Randy) Marsh of New London and Kathy (James) Bauldry of Oshkosh; four grandchildren, Shana (Kevin) Eggebeen, Lori, Marc (fiance' Tara) and Erin Marsh; three great-grandchildren, Eric, Kyra, and Bretta ; a sister, Lena Schock of Oshkosh; a brother, Robert (Gloria) Weigandt of Whitewater; a sister-in-law, Arlye Weigandt also survives along with very dear friends, Norma and Walter Payne. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Emma Manley, Florence Weitz and Mavis Twombly; three brothers, Gordon, Richard and Russell "Jim" Weigandt and is further preceded by a special friend, Vernon Guenther.
There will be no visitation, a private family memorial service will be held. Inurnment will be in Lake View Memorial Park Cemetery. A memorial fund is being established in Faye's name.
