Faye Elizabeth Walker, age 83, of Omro, died Wednesday evening, May 10, 2006 at Aurora Hospital. She was born April 20, 1923 in Little Rock, AR, the daughter of Charles and Elva Berryhill Cutrell. Faye married Col. Charles S. Walker in 1945, he preceded her in death in 1972. Family was important to Faye. Her family will always cherish her memory as a generous and loving person. Faye will be best remembered as a gracious, Southern Lady.
Survivors include her children, Elizabeth Ann Mahone of Chicago, Cheryl Elaine (Larry) Ingalls of Omro and Charles Stanley (Heather) Walker of Virginia; grandchildren, Heather Diane (Jason) Brenenstuhl, Christi Ann (Shane) Gordon, Brandon Elizabeth Walker, Larry Alan (Elizabeth) Ingalls, Jeremy Charles (Heather) Ingalls, "Jack" Charles Jonathon Walker, Katrina Elaine Ingalls and Holly Michelle Mahone; ten great grandchildren who loved their G.G. and the daughter of her heart, Sharon (Merle) Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and four sisters.
A Memorial Service in Faye's honor will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2006 at 6:00 P.M. at Wyldewood Baptist Church, 3030 Witzel Ave., Oshkosh, with Rev. Randall King Officiating. She will be Laid to Rest with her husband at the VA National Cemetery in El Paso, TX.
