Ferne L. Langlitz, age 88, of Oshkosh, passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2012, at Centennial Inn. Ferne was born on April 13, 1924, to Alfred and Ella (Lueptow) Wilson. She married Emil Langlitz. Ferne was a hard worker, she held various jobs over her 47 year career. Ferne was a natural caregiver, and worked as a CNA, retiring after 27 years at Winnebago State Hospital. She enjoyed the outdoors; gardening, both flowers and vegetables; and camping. Ferne is survived by her daughter, Cindy (Rick) Langlitz-Gehrke, grandchildren, Jeffrey, Patti, Lori, Lisa, Danielle, Jason, and Johnny; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; daughter in law, Kay Langlitz; nieces; dear friends, Sharon, Jack and Larry and the caring, compassionate staff at Centennial Inn, where Ferne had happily lived for the past four years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emil; son, James; grandson, Jimmy; brothers, Eugene (Wilma) and Wesley; sister, Nyla (Joe) Macho.
Per Mom's wishes, there will be no funeral, and was laid to rest at Lake View Memorial park.
