Florence L. Doughty, age 93, of Omro, died Tuesday evening, June 28, 2011, at Mercy Medical Center. She was born September 10, 1917 in the Town of Poygan, the daughter of Louis and Francis (Berrey) Herbst. Florence had many passions in life. First and foremost, she had a deep and abiding faith. She also enjoyed gardening, flowers, butterflies and cooking; but above all else, she loved her family and spending time with them.

Florence was loved and will be missed by her sons, Ray (Karen) Fraleigh of Omro, Mark Brosseau of Dorchester, WI; three grandchildren, Keith (Julie) Fraleigh of New Berlin, Paula (Robin) Zillmer of Hartland, Paul (Judy) Fraleigh of Omro; six great grandchildren; sister, Dorothy (Asahel) Wightman of Kenosha; sister-in-law, Pat (Jack) Warner of Ocala, FL; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends, especially, Irene Heinz. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, George Fraleigh, Harold Brosseau, Robert Doughty; brothers, Ira and Frances and sister, Lorraine (Harvard) Gilbert.

In respect to FlorenceÂ's memory, the family will greet relatives and friends on Friday, July 1, 2011, at Grace Lutheran Church, 720 Jackson Ave., Omro from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Richard Bartholomew officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. A memorial in her name has been established.
