Florence L. Hamilton, age 98, passed away January 21, 2014. She was born March 4, 1915 to Charles and Martha Krumenauer. Florence graduated from high school in Milwaukee and lived her adult life in Oshkosh and Green Bay. She proudly served her country during WWII in the U.S. Navy, stationed at Pensacola NAS. While in the military she met and married Walter (Ham) Hamilton from Birmingham, AL.
She worked many years at Oshkosh Overall but mainly stayed home to raise their family. She was always quick, and proud, to point out she had three children in less than a year. Her hobbies and pleasures were playing golf and Bridge, sewing, knitting and talking.
Florence was preceded in death by her husband, Ham, her parents, and her siblings: Kenneth, Mark, Eugene, Carlton and Naomi. She is survived by her children Bruce (Carol) in Green Bay, Bonnie (Glen) Broderick in Madison, Wi., Jeff (Jane) in O'Fallon, MO. She also has eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 8, 2014 at the Seefeld Funeral Home. Friends will be received at 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service. A reception will follow.
