Florence Louise Keyes, age
88 of Oshkosh died at Evergreen Health Center on Saturday, April 17, 2010. She was born on July 24, 1921 to Albert and
Helena (Pollack) Matulle. On October 2,
1942 she married Richard J. Keyes in Ft. Worth, Texas. They enjoyed 64 years together until his
death on November 22, 2006.


A loving wife, mother, and
homemaker all of her life; Florence will be remembered for her feistiness and
sense of humor, by all who knew her. For
many years she was a member of St. John Lutheran Church on Main Street in
Oshkosh. There she participated in Bible
study and many other church activities.
Most recently she was a member of Plymouth Congregational Church.


Mourning the death of
Florence are her daughter, Diane Muggenthaler; granddaughter, Shauna
Lautenschlager; sister, Dorothy Radig, and many dear nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband,
Richard; Florence was preceded in death by three brothers, six sisters, and her
son-in-law, Charles Muggenthaler.


A memorial service for
Florence will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, April 21, 2010, at Seefeld
Family of Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street, Oshkosh. A time for sharing memories and comfort will
be held at the funeral chapel on Wednesday, from 10:00 A.M. until the time of
the service. Inurnment will be in Lake

The family would like to express
their gratitude to the nurses and support staff at Evergreen Retirement Community
for their comforting care and concern for Florence and her family. Also thank you to the staff of Aurora
