Florence C. Reichenberger, 91, passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2009, at Omro Care Center. She was born in Oshkosh on October 23, 1917 to Louis and Anna (Mathe) Reichenberger. Florence was raised on the family farm and she worked in Oshkosh at the Deltox and Miles Kimball. She lived in Waukau for forty years with her sister Gertrude and cousin Joseph. Bird watching and gardening were hobbies she enjoyed.
Her family tree contains branches for her brothers and sisters who have all died: Theodore, Albert, George, Anna, Josephine and Gertrude. Carrying on their memories are her nieces and nephews.
The funeral for Florence will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 3, 2009, at St. Jude the Apostle Parish (St. Vincent site, 1225 Oregon Street), led by Father Thomas Reynebeau. Her burial service will follow at Riverside Cemetery. Visitation time will begin at the church on Monday at 10:00 AM.
