Obituary

Forrest Kenneth Reinke, age 80, of Oshkosh, went to walk with God and see the beauty of heaven on Friday, evening, April 8, 2005. He was born on February 3, 925 in Oshkosh a son of the late Fred W. and Irma M. Reinke. He married the former Audrey M. Winkler on December 1, 1949 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. She preceded him in death on July 13, 1994. Forrest served his country during WWII in the US Navy and had worked for and retired from Medalist Industries. He was a member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ. He greatly enjoyed the outdoors, that of hunting and fishing and time spent with family and friends. Forrest will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include four daughters, Teri (Daniel) Dowling of Winneconne, Kathleen (Kevin) Rynearson of Wild Rose, Joan Peterson and Rick Behnke of Oshkosh, Lois (Karl) Reischl of Oshkosh; a son, Robert (Dorothy) Reinke of Oshkosh. Eleven grandchildren, Forrest, Allison, Matthew, Emily, James, Richard, Kenneth, Faith, Megan, Courtney and Nicholas; seven great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Ty, Rebekah, Mason, Ryan, Jacob and Chloe. He is further survived by a brother, Clyde "Amos" (Marge) Reinke of Fox Lake, Illinois; other relatives and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Nile, Kurt and Chester.
Funeral services for Forrest will be held on Monday, April 11, 2005 at 12 noon at Emmanuel United Church of Christ 1306 Michigan Street with the Reverend R. David Gaskill officiating. Interment will be in Peace Lutheran Cemetery. A time of visitation and support will be held at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. A memorial fund is being established. Forrest's family wishes sincere and special thanks to Kevin Rynearson and Affinity Hospice for the care that allowed Dad to stay at home.
